Since 1970, Henninger's Diesel Ltd. has been supplying the mining, forestry, construction, and power generation industries with quality remanufactured and new Deutz engines.
Founded by Manfred Henninger as a specialty diesel fuel injection repair center, our initial focus was on the Bosch fuel injection system used by Deutz engines. An expansion to include most major diesel fuel injection systems quickly followed and we started reconditioning Deutz engine components including cylinder heads, electric starters, and crankshafts before making the transition into complete reconditioning of Deutz and Mercedes engines. We have remained an independent company, and the Deutz engine has remained our primary focus. This has provided us with the in-depth product knowledge, skills and experience to quickly implement modifications and to tailor engine setups for specific customer and industry applications.
Henninger’s Diesel sells new and re-manufactured Deutz engines for an increasing variety of applications including: mining, construction, industry, agriculture, forestry, and transportation. To keep up with changing market and client needs, Henninger’s Diesel has made three decisions which diversify our core business. First, we have enlarged our facilities and services to include truck bays dedicated to fuel injection repairs for on and off-road vehicles. Second, we have expanded the range of new Deutz engines we offer for sale, exchange, parts sales and service. Third, our increased export sales has made us realize the need for on-site training in engine repair and maintenance (in addition to on-site service). We now offer the value-added service of on-site training to both our domestic and international clients. These changes are intended to expand our reach and the recognition of Henninger’s green coloured engines as synonymous with excellent value and quality products and services.
Independent Specialists
Our family-owned company is an independent, diesel engine rebuilding plant that specializes in Deutz engines. 100% of our work is done in-house, ensuring that we maintain full oversight of the quality, standards, testing, and consistency of our products. We are not a parts source company/warehouse that ships its service work out.
Focus on Engine Rebuilding
Diesel engine rebuilding has always been our primary focus, ensuring that all of our rebuilt engines (with or without exchange) are reasonably priced, consistent, reliable, and up to the performance standards that they were machined, assembled and tested to perform.
Fuel Injection Shop
We man a large fuel injection shop and are an authorized dealer for all major diesel fuel injection manufacturers including, Bosch, Delphi, Denso, Stanadyne, and Zexel. We also have exchange fuel injection pumps available.
Qualified Exporters
On the basis of our reputation in North America, we have established export markets in Central and South America where we are known and respected for our quick turn-around times, on-site visits, and reliable, long-lasting engines. Even here, we are told we are price competitive with local suppliers.
Parts Availability
We have nearly 7,000 line items in our parts department, including replacement parts and starters for most, popular European diesel engines. We pride ourselves on maintaining an inventory that satisfies our customers’ needs through bi-weekly stock orders placed with North American and European suppliers.
Engine Maintenance/Repair Training
Our customer service extends beyond service calls and honoring our warranties. We can lengthen expected engine life and reduce production downtime by offering engine maintenance/repair training in the specific environment where the engine is being used. This training extends to both our domestic and international clientele, as we realize that different environments and conditions will often require different maintenance procedures to maximize engine life.

Green Engines
Buying a re-built Henninger engine can help you meet budget challenges. Our rebuilt engines are two kinds of green: not only do they satisfy the environmental mantra of ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’, but their distinctive green colour makes them instantly recognizable – one miner working in Chile recently told us that he recognized those Henninger green engines from when he worked in a mine in South Africa.
